Summary:
A 26-year-old woman was enjoying happy hour with two male friends at Ginza Pub in Yishun along Sembawang Road on November 10 when the unexpected happened.
She was approached by a group of five women and one man in their late 20s, who asked if she belonged to a gang.
When she said no, the gang started attacking her with glass bottles and knives.
She suffered multiple slashes on her face, arms and legs, and was sent to the hospital.
Her two male friends were also injured while trying to protect her.
Opinion :
Firstly, i think that measure should be taken against attackers. Because this "yishun" case is not the only attacking case that has been happening recently around the island. Singapore is well known for its strong security. Foreigners think that Singapore is a safe country even if they were to roam around Singapore during the wee hours.
If the tourists get to know more Singapore's attacking case, which has been increasing lately, definitely the the amount of tourists coming to Singapore will decrease because they no longer feel safe, and this is just going to affect the country's economy.
In conclusion, everyone should know the value of life, and if they don't understand they must be educated about it.
